We went through several revisions, and not once did his commitment to delivering outstanding design waiver, and the same time ensuring that we were satisfied. It's clear that he has passion for his work.

Difficult to not sound unrealistic about this lovely & talented human being. Demis is so easy to communicate with and seems to clearly understand a brief.
I was so impressed with him on every professional level and on a personal note, his calm demeanour was so helpful to me through the stresses of dealing with Council and L&E Court. In fact, without Demis' attention at the correct time, I doubt very much whether I would have persevered through the process to get our DA.
One of the things that makes Demis unusual in this industry is that he genuinely wants to give the client exactly what they want, but he's also very able to suggest other alternatives which he feels might achieve a better result. We are very glad we obtained the services of Hecticrat for architectural design and DA approval for our dream home.
Demis is an excellent architect and very knowledgeable in town planning matters.
Ours is a very difficult block of land 47 M deep with app. 15 M rise from front to back located in a council considered very difficult for getting approvals for new dwellings.
We had gone with a building designer earlier and completed two Pre DA meetings with council and found that we had more issues to deal with as the process evolved. Changes to council staff during the period did not help the process either.
That’s when we came across Demis.
Demis went through the pre DA minutes meticulously to understand the council’s thinking and came up with an excellent design that utilised the site characteristics and met the LEP guidelines. The design created by Demis met our expectations and obtained the council approval in a few months.
In view of what Demis achieved on our behalf, we highly recommend Demis for anyone looking for an architect for a residential project in Sydney.
